Here's the latest work from last weekend! Tough weather conditions but we got a fair bit done! Painted another 30 feet of pitch wall and cleared a further 20 feet of moss. Another 3 steps and terrace stepping painted and another 10 foot square area scraped clear of all growth and litter. Still a long way to go and this is by far the worst job so far ! But when this section is complete (by the end of May 2011) it will really stand out to reveal the potential that this old football arena still has. More to come !

Restoration Latest
Despite the inclement weather we have persevered with the restoration of both the pitch wall and the West Terrace. All of the 64 crush barriers have been sanded down and repainted scarlet. Another 30 feet of pitch wall painted and we are moving on nto the last 3rd of this task!
The hardest bit is to come though. We have been scraping and clearing the moss and undergrowth from the top of the West Terrace down and painting as we go, although this has been held up by the rain. Still, as you can see from the photos, it is beginning to really make a difference.
We have had lots of encouragement from locals and former fans of the club as well as the help of the Council groundsmen who have kindly picked up the ten bags of rubbish we leave for them every Sunday !
